Ammonites and Seafoam Shawl

You will need a knowledge of these stitches - Knit, Purl, Yarn Over, Knit 2 together, Knit through back loop.
I designed the shawl to be an achievable knit for even new knitters. You can follow row by row in either written or chart form. Some experienced knitters have found that the ammonite section ties them to reading each row. This is because there are almost no repeats. This is not a problem for knitters who have to read every row to knit the pattern.
The small size takes approximately 450m of yarn, the large takes closer to 850m.
I recommend my Merino/Nylon sock weight yarn in the Ammonite Turquoise colourway, you will need 2 100g skeins which can be purchased here.
A 4mm/100cm length circular needle is recommended which can be purchased here or a size to get gauge.
